La Principessa e il cacciatore

Unconsciously we run away from feelings, for fear. Fear of being hurt and disappointed, once again. We fight them as if they were a demon or a wicked witch who want to deprive us of our happiness. When, happiness, might be hidden right there in those feelings.
He had taught that evil exists and we have to defend yourself.
He did not know what had hit ofher, perhaps a word or how she bent her head to the side when she smiled. But from that day she was in his thoughts, returning when least expected it.
They met by chance at the ball and, again by chance, found themselves one day walking in a forest not far from the palace of the princess.
He recognized her immediately, hovering gracefully here and there, wrapped in a fluffy fur coat, looking for some kind magical creature could capture her attention. She had red lips like roses, big brown eyes, brown hair, white skin as snow, the happy air and, about dress, you can not say that it was there to do anything.
When their eyes met, it was felt a spark in the big eyes of the princess, and her red lips seemed to quiver as if the slightest provocation could open in a smile.
She gave him a brief glance and froze, while a smile drews on those red lips, then turned her head shyly. The fact that she had turned away was index of discretion, modesty and good manners, qualities which he considered essential for a beautiful girl.
That was the spark to attract the attention of the hunter. At that moment he felt something unusual to the heart. He had not felt that peculiar sensation, pleasant yet strangely painful from years. It was love.
He reached her, calmly, to keep her from running away, just as he had done with the fawns. He took her hand and with the other stroked her rosy cheeks. Then he looked at the long, silent, captivated by her beauty.
He pressed her to himself, in a warm embrace, and they spoke at length with the eyes and smiles, surrounded by the silent wood.
Suddenly the voice of the hunter broke the silence: "You can trust me. With me you're safe." - he said - "I will indicate a filter of love without poisons, no herbs, no magic formulas: if you want to be loved, love."
Princess's red lips parted in one of her most seductive smiles. He slowly approached to her face and kissed her with ardor and sweetness, tasting her tender lips, until the princess slumped in his arms, silently accepting his protection and his love.

Ricchi si diventa, eleganti si nasce.

We always talk about elegance, of how a person is dressed and wearing clothes. Pointing a finger to reach a final judgment: is she elegant or not?
All women aspire to be elegant, buying thousands of clothes, shoes and bags but how many of them, even though they are well dressed, are elegant?
Elegance is innate, not learned and do not buy, is inherent in the behavior; elegance is poise, discretion, charm, seduction. You can learn to be well dressed but you do not learn to be elegant.
True elegance begins, secretly, from inside and then leave with delicacy and grace.
What is elegance? An attitude. Elegance is not tied to a piece of clothing, much less a luxury handbag. You move in a certain way, you sit in a certain way, you speak in a certain way. The hands and face have an elegant attitude in the movements. The elegance has simply code difficult to explain.
Elegance is a gift, a natural gift. It born with the chosen and dies with her, accompanying her for life.

L'intramontabile trench

All wear it, but few know the origins and history of its birth. Who I'm talking about?
The trench! Who does not have a trench raise the hand and be ashamed at least a little ;)
The trench coat was born in 1901 on the battlefields to live on the catwalk and become a must-have in the wardrobe for men and women. Before we wore only between one season and the other, it has now become the base item to hang out with, without any other.
To make it famous in the female closet is the fascinating Greta Garbo in the film Destino, in 1928, becoming a must-have for any woman with style.
It was worn in fact, on the big screen and not only, by many stars like Brigitte Bardot, Marilyn Monroe and Katherine Hepburn.
A passe par tout item for the day and the evening, depending on how you wear it: an elegant suit, a trousers, a skirt -better a pencil-, but also an evening dress.
For my afternoon formal, but not too much, I decided to combine it with a pair of blue pants with a white and blue striped shirt, a colorful scarf and red geranium shoes in contrast. What do you think?

Spring time

"A day without laughter is a day wasted" so said Sir Charlie Chaplin.
Give me some tulips and I will be the happiest and smiling person in the world, I might add.
Did you know that tulips represent true love and for a declaration of love should give a bouquet of red tulips (perhaps with a Luca Barra jewel).
Although many are convinced that the flower that symbolizes love is the rose that is not entirely true: the true symbol of perfect love, honest one, eternal, selfless, and I would add also rare, is the tulip, at least according to what that the ancient legends and popular literature passed us.
The name "tulip" comes from turkish "tullband" headdress, turban, probably because of the characteristic of this lovely flower.
According to an ancient Persian legend, the oldest of those who see the tulip as the protagonist, this was born from the drops of blood of a young boy who committed suicide following a terrible disappointment in love. Even in the famous collection of fairy tales "The Arabian Nights" the tulip is associated with love: in fact, according to the accounts, the sultan dropped a red tulip at the foot of one of the women of the harem to show them what was the chosen .
It was later in the sixteenth century that this beautiful flower gained great popularity in Turkey, during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent Ottoman sultanate, from whose court were brought first to Vienna, then in Holland and England, and finally in the arms of your princess for cheer and perfuming her spring days, dreaming about a #fugaromantica in Amalfi Coast.
