Nordkette: il gioiello delle Alpi

La Nordkette è il gioiello delle Alpi. Questa spettacolare catena montuosa veglia a nord sulla città di Innsbruck (ve ne ho parlato qui) ed è una meta molto apprezzata per le escursioni.
Il viaggio inizia a 560 metri sul livello del mare, non lontano dal centro storico, con i suoi edifici e il suo famoso Goldenes Dachl (tetto d'oro).
Gli impianti della Nordkette portano i visitatori dal centro della città in alta montagna. Dalla stazione "Congress", vicina al Palazzo Imperiale, la funicolare della Hungerburgbahn, ideata e progettata dal famoso architetto Zaha Hadid, raggiunge la Seegrube a 2000 metri di altitudine in soli 20 minuti. Dal centro storico, infatti, in 8 minuti si arriva alla stazione della Hungerburg dove è possibile scendere alla stazione intermedia dell'Alpenzoo, lo Zoo delle Alpi, con oltre 150 specie di animali.
Attraverso la piazza dedicata all'alpinista austriaco Hermann-Buhl-Platz si possono raggiungere gli impianti che portano alla Seegrube.
Il panorama è spettacolare: la vista sulla capitale delle Alpi e sul parco naturale del Karwendel regala emozioni che lasciano senza fiato.
Da qui, inoltre, è possibile proseguire per altri 300 metri di dislivello e arrivare fino al punto più alto, l'Hafelekar. Ma le stazioni a monte degli impianti Nordkettenbahnen sono anche punti di partenza ideali per escursioni in diverse malghe e rifugi. Sulla Nordkette, infatti, anche l'orizzonte gastronomico supera ogni apice regalando nuove sensazioni al palato ma anche alla vista, specie di sera, quando ad attendervi ci sarà una cena a lume di candela con una veduta sulle luci della città. E potrei riassumere il tutto con una parola: impagabile.

Un safari in Africa è il sogno di molti e, a mio parere, è un'esperienza che, almeno una volta nella vita, tutti dovrebbero provare. E allora prendete un binocolo, il passaporto e l'assicurazione sanitaria per i viaggiatori del mondo e partire con me!

Innsbruck: il Sentiero del Pino Cembro

Il Tirolo austriaco da sempre stupisce gli appassionati della montagna. Che sia una destinazione invernale o estiva, è a tutti gli effetti il luogo ideale per chi desidera camminare, respirare e ammirare meravigliosi scenari naturali.
La città delle Alpi, Innsbruck (ve ne ho parlato qui), insieme alle sue località nei dintorni, è una meta turistica molto apprezzata dagli amanti delle escursioni e degli sport invernali. Non a caso, proprio ad Innsbruck, per ben due volte hanno già avuto luogo le Olimpiadi Invernali. Ma anche in estate, con la natura incontaminata del paesaggio alpino, è la meta perfetta per trascorrere una vacanza all'insegna del benessere e delle camminate in alta montagna, tra sentieri, vette innevate, lussureggianti foreste, cime maestose e paesaggi da cartolina.
Grazie ai mezzi pubblici, dal centro città, è possibile raggiungere uno dei sentieri più belli ed affascinanti che sovrasta Innsbruck: il Sentiero del Pino Cembro o sentiero Zirbenweg.
Tra i monti Glungezer e Patscherkofel, il sentiero Zirbenweg con i suoi 7km, vi porta attraverso il più grande e rigoglioso bosco di Pino Cembro delle Alpi, con la valle dell'Inn che accompagna tutta l'escursione.
Raggiungibile, da valle, dalla stazione Glungezerbahn (dove potrete acquistare un biglietto Zirbenweg-Rundwanderticket che comprende gli impianti di risalita e il bus per tornare a valle), si percorre in circa 4 ore durante le quali potete fermarvi in una delle tipiche malghe austriache, per gustare un piatto caldo o prendere un po' di sole, immersi in un vero e proprio paesaggio da cartolina.
Ed è proprio qui, a 2000 metri, tra l'aria fresca, l'acqua cristallina delle Alpi, il verde acceso e il profumo inebriante del pino cembro, che nasce la nuova fragranza Acqua Alpes, 2677. Un profumo intenso e dall'effetto rilassante, grazie agli oli eterei del pino cembro. Questo albero, infatti, ha proprietà benefiche ed equilibranti ed è considerato un efficace antistress, per questo viene anche chiamato il Re delle Alpi.

Innsbruck: cosa vedere e cosa fare nel capoluogo del Tirolo

Il profumo delle Alpi, fresco e puro, l'essenza di una natura incontaminata, che si fonde con quello dei bretzel appena sfornati e che pervade i vicoli colorati della città. Edifici dai colori pastello, fiori alle finestre, maestosi palazzi, villaggi d'incanto, ricchi di storia e con tradizioni ancora vive, altopiani soleggiati e romantici, e vette immacolate tanto vicine da poterle quasi toccare. Innsbruck è così, sembra uscita da un libro delle fiabe, una di quelle dei fratelli Grimm che ci leggevano da bambini per farci addormentare.
Abbracciata dalle montagne, colorata dai tetti dei palazzi eleganti, capace di farsi ammirare sia d'inverno che d'estate, vi lascerà con la voglia di tornarvi, presto o tardi. 

Città alpina posta sulla confluenza del fiume Inn con il Sill, Insbruck deve il suo nome al ponte sull'Inn, il fiume che l'attraversa e che si getta più a nord del Danubio.

Una passeggiata in Svizzera: Val Poschiavo

The lowered car windows, the warm summer wind caressing the face, the sparkling air, the scent of nature that gently nods in the nose and in the distance the whistle of the Bernina Red Train, directed to St. Moritz, which is approaching fast.

I had never been to Switzerland before last summer, but that's how I always imagined it, as in Heidi's cardboard: green lounges with grazing cows, wooden houses, colored geraniums at the windows, majestic lakes, pine forests and paths to discover.

I always preferred the sea to the mountain but I was literally fascinated.

Snow-covered mountains, pristine natural areas, cities and small overflowing cultural landscapes make Switzerland an ideal holiday destination.

A varied landscape of valleys and picturesque cities, especially the Graubünden region, Switzerland's largest canton, the most eastern and the only trilingual. Here everything is different, even the chromatic: red like the Rhaetian railway wagons, yellow like the post bus, blue like the 615 lakes and the sky over the 150 valleys, green like the forests and pastures, golden brown like larches in the fall, gray like fortresses and rocks, and white like snow and glaciers.

And it is in the Canton of Graubünden, in Val Poschiavo, where my trip to Switzerland started.

The natural and cultural landscape of Val Poschiavo is only 25 kilometers from the sparkling Bernina chain to Veltlin vineyards but offers a multitude of natural beauty, beautiful towns with interesting cultural monuments, palaces and churches.

On board the "Red Train" or the "Bernina Express", with the red caravan compositions of the Rhaetian railway, or by car: the route from the Engadine to Val Poschiavo, the southernmost of the 150 valleys of the Graubünden, offers up to the borders with Italy one of Switzerland's most varied landscapes.

The train path on the Bernina Pass from St. Moritz to Val Poschiavo and to Tirano, the Italian border, is an impressive experience. Here the gaze spans the mountain panorama of the Morteratsch glacier, the Diavolezza or the Lagalb glacier. From the Alp Grum you can see the imposing Palu glacier and at the same time the majestic Lake Poschiavo with its cobalt blue waters, a spectacle of nature.

The chief town of the small, unspoiled resort of Val Poschiavo is the town of Poschiavo, whose patrician houses surround the square, giving it a typically Italian character. Poschiavo, in fact, has its charm in the seductive old town, rich in magnificent palaces and vaguely medieval architecture.

And I still remember it, the astonishment on my face and the astonished eyes in front of the beauty of this nature.
