Saint Laurent style

In the 70's, the famous French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent shocked with the first trouser suit and suit for women. Since then it's been a while, but the mannish style is still the star of the catwalks. 

And so this fall/winter the mannish style is a trend thanks to the suit jacket pants strict but very sensual. 

The new mannish, however, is overwhelmingly female and captures the essence of dandyism: the outfits are made according to an elegance doctrine which makes attention to the combination and retail real diktat. 

Born as a symbol of women's emancipation, has traveled the ages, drawing on the language of fashion, finding agreement with the contemporary and then triumph on the catwalks as a representative of timeless elegance. 

Fashion fades, the suit remains.

Leather, Peplum, Denim

Some loves made immense speed and then come back ...
It seems like yesterday that I attended the first year of high school and I was madly in love. No, not with the most beautiful of the school (which was more than one: P)... but with the jeans! To the delight of my mother I had more than 20, I swear! Then over time, the hatred.
Over the years, my closet was filled with blacks trousers, weird right ?! ;)
But the dear old and good Venditti has always been right...The flashback is close, very close indeed!
In recent weeks I have bought 2 pairs of jeans but this time I will stop here, the 0 close to 2 this time do not put it ;)
So for a drink with friends, I opted once again for simplicity, wearing my new jeans, AX Paris jacket with faux leather sleeves and peplum and heeled brogues. I do not even remember most of them!

Colori d'autunno

Autumn and its shades from yellow to red, still immersed in a bright green frame.
A total black outfit with accessories from the colors of the leaves and shoes in leopard print pony, as it wants to tip the season. A song in my head and a mixture of peace and thoughts drawn on my face. Today it goes like this...

October, 19

An autumn walk on a soft blanket of dry leaves.
The smell of roasted chestnuts and a sudden desire for Christmas, red and a chalet in the mountains.
A "Witch" hat (Halloween is approaching :P) and a warm vests in Mongolian fur.
A pair of jeans and a white shirt.
And then, the bag that every woman should have in their collection of bags: the famous Louis Vuitton speedy. What if you still do not know, the trunk bag is the must have bag for this fall (I'll get better in a week, however, take note).
And one more a quote, hoping it will be one of those true:
Do not confuse your path with your destination. Just because it is stormy now does not mean that you are not directed toward the sun.

Green leopard shoes

Green and animalier. A perfect combination that embodies what are the trends of this fall. The green and its shades (here), for what concerns the trendy colors according to pantone, and animalier shoes (I talked about it here). 

If the shoes are Alberto Bressan spotted with shades of green, I made the center! In fact I own, as they say, two birds with one stone;)

Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?
Magic mirrors, wreaths of bright, royal garments, glass slippers ..What little girl/young woman did not grow up dreaming of being/becoming a princess? I think no, indeed, I am almost certain.
Sometimes fairy tales do come true, not for all those little girls dreaming obvious, but the most fortunate realize their dream.
  If I tell you, Kate? Just to name one ;) Yeah, Middleton has done it!
Then you see that this is not so hard or maybe.
Alle we know the truth, needless to preach to you or be moralist..this morning I want to make you dream.
So even if in the veins not flow the notorious blue-blooded and we are not that great ass of Cinderella, least of Kate, just rummage in the old trunk of our mother (or grandmother) and find the vintage dress of "her big day". Wear it. Close the eyes and start dreaming, circling in an impromptu waltz.
As I always say:
To be a princess is not needed neither a prince nor a crown!

When September ends

The simplicity of a day in late September. A jeans and a white T-shirt. A trench on the shoulders, to shelter from the pleasant breeze that is already changing its warmth.
As if it were always so simple in life. That just simply is not.
And if there is an adjective that does not belong to this life, it is the simplicity. It does not even know what that means.
We are forced every day to climb thousands of steps, climb over walls to be able to enjoy the view.
And 'this is the key to everything: be aware of being alive. Remember that it is never too late to turn around to look at the sun. Again.

A new Tartan

From Scotland with love, tartan, famous plaid fabric, confirms itself the star of the season, mixing and reinventing itself with new trends. 

And if fashion wants all us in the beautiful and mysterious Scotland, we just have to leave...oops... to play! 

Not to give into the mix, now granted, tartan-animalier, I decided to match my tartan dress with two trendy colors of this season: the red sangria and the famous burgundy.

Lady in black, again.

Hello girls!
Monday again. New outfit. Black again.
(What a great imagination!)
I had said that I like black.
If you did not understand I'm a #blackaddicted and #blacklover.
I can not do anything about it, so keep me and love the black!
Ah anyway, I have a news...
"Did you buy another little black dress?" 
No no, you're quiet, nothing black. Ultimately I'm looking for a little red dress.
Yes you read right, and very likely you also heard the bells ringing, I want a red dress!
Will your Princess find the dress that I have in mind (because I know how I want it but I do not know if I'll find it) or will sell, once again, the charm of black? We'll find out in the next few months!
Meanwhile, enjoy yet another outfit in black and remember:
"You are never too much or too little elegant with a little black dress."

Pencil skirt & Borsalino hat

The pencil skirt is always a classic bon ton, as well as a symbol of femininity. 

Caresses and enhances our forms without exceeding in the vulgarity. 

A true timeless classic but super versatile. Impossible not to have one in the closet! 

As you know I was at the Fashion Week in Milan and one of the outfits prepared but not worn (I still wonder why), provided for the pencil skirt with a lace corset, a big hat to create a bit of mystery and finish coat on shoulders. All strictly black! 

Needless to say that I love (in all languages) the result ;)
