Hello princesses,

how are you? Are you already in mountains, in some romantic city or in some exotic place to celebrate the new year or are you still in town? How are your plans? Festivals and dances till morning  or kisses in the square?

Waiting for the New Year, the post to say goodbye to 2014 (and lucky, in some cases, there is always a goodbye) and the good intentions for the coming year, here I am with the Christmas outfit for lunch in family. To tell the truth I was even forgetting to photograph it, I'm an airhead princess...I know it!

Coat as a dress

I hate the fog, perhaps most of the rain. And even more I hate photos when THERE IS fog, my hair becomes worse than a scarecrow (no kidding). Consequently, for a SUPER MEGA OBSESSED by perfect canopy, like me, it touch the tragedy mixed despair, mixed cosmic hysteria.

However, fog or no fog the world goes on even in those days, and I can not always "refuse" to leave the house. So when duty calls, a nice coat, worn as a dress, gives me all the warmth and comfort that I need. Or almost. Although the alternative of staying at home, warmth with perfect hair, is always the best! ;) 

Semplicità

GentleLady: lettera ad un ominicchio

Every woman has a "masculine side", so they say. But the men of the past what happened? They have become all the girls who spend Friday afternoon the beautician, including lamps and gullwing eyebrows. Not to mention the creams for the face and the gym. As if an abdominal replace a brain! It takes abdominal and especially the brain. Admitted and granted, they know what it is and how to use it..... and here I have serious doubts.
They are undecided, eternal undecided. They no longer know what to do, how to behave. With friend, girlfriend and ex.
Not to mention those "hysterical" or mood swings from menstrual phase.
Have you noticed too, right? Born more "girls" that males! Some of them just missing the hysterics from broken fingernail, or fainting at the sight of blood.
But attributes do not make them anymore??? Have them finished by chance?? Also finished testosterone??? No, because if so, say it.
The truth is that the roles were reversed. The men have become women and women men, even as we, real women, did not ask anything. These here, one day  woke up and decided to steal our throne, fabricating an army of little women that not even the Santa's elves.
Well my dear "little man", do you want to be woman? So be it, but breaking through to the end.
Give me also your beautiful suit, with attached ties, bow ties and braces. But in exchange take: hurt feet and back due to high heels, childbirth, menstrual syndrome with attached pains (and believe me, they are pains in the true sense of the word) and have to do with you, males or what you are.
Try it that then we'll talk and see if you still want to play to be a woman.

Fur & Denim

These are not my best photos. Definitely NO.

I see me like a whale, with a full moon instead of the face. The libra marks always the same number.

I seem too angry and instead when I took these pictures I was cheerful.

But there's one thing I like: the outfit. What I really like, simple but with that something extra.

There are several ways to wear fur, for the day I prefer to wear it with jeans and heels, in this case not too high, for a casual and glam outfit at the same time.

Telephone Box

 

There was a time, not so long ago, when making calls were not used cell phones.
There were no cell phones, the ringing of the "I think about you" or "I'm here, come down," the text message to the mother to say "I came," and even whatsapp conversations, often meaningless and also endless.
The phones there were but only in homes, hey had the wheel and had to wait for it complimented back around before making the other number.
In reality outside the home and on the road you could call. It was done by telephone boxes, for which, at least until the mid 80s, served as the token.
The problem arose when we had to change because no one knew what would last the call. There it was a little to the feeling, depending on the call. Depending on the person. To avoid ending the token at the climax.
It was not  the time of ringtones and mobile phones. At that time one entered in the telephone box that seemed confessional and guardians of some secret.
They were containers of distances, whispered loves, families apart.
I have not lived but were different times, the best. Times where those seconds, minutes, hours spent attached to the handset knew excite. The calls had a different flavor. Sweet, like the words of two people apart, with a little bitter aftertaste that due to waiting for the next call.
Not like now that every 3x2 comes a "BIP" that brings with it hearts, TVB, TAT, TV1KDB.
I want a K of that ?? But the simplicity where is it? And the values? Those true and sincere, attributed to everything? Dead. Buried. Like thelephone boxes, which to take me two photos, I was going to buy a plane ticket to London! And the thing I would have liked.

Vintage Christmas with Lolita Lempicka

December. Christmas, the family and the snow.
There are lights, decorations and the Christmas tree, there ready to be decorated to give warmth and like every year.
Santa Claus, bells and bears. There are also the reindeer, the boots of Santa Claus, the little men gingerbread and some sweet memories of childhood.
  Do not miss anybody.
There are also my favorite songs, "We wish you a Merry Christmas" and "So this is Christmas", because I can't decorate the Christmas tree if there are not those songs in the background. It is part of the tradition.
And then there's your princess, more excited than ever, that, between a ball and a bell, singing and hovers over those magical notes, with a warm cardigan with reindeer and new Lolita Lempicka glasses.
But Christmas is not a time or a season, but a state of mind.
It must bring peace and good intentions between peaple. Be full of mercy, means to have the real spirit of Christmas.

Who is behind me?

Afternoons that smell of roasted chestnuts and smell of hot chocolate.

Afternoons cold, warmed by the warmth of a fur coat and a smile.

Afternoons of random encounters with people dressed in red and a long white beard.

A grandfather who came from afar, accompanied by a little helper, told me he is coming but do not tell anyone...so shhhh....it is our secret!

Gonna pied de poule

There is a print that every vintage lover wear: houndstooth. Straight from the '50s, houndstooth is a guarantee of ladylike outfits, chic and retro.

The houndstooth texture is Scottish.

"Scottish? I thought it was French!", are you saying it?

But no, this print was not born in France, but in Scotland, back in 1800. At that time its value fashion was still unknown, it was later in 1900, thanks to Mr. Christian Dior, which experienced some success.

From this moment on, the houndstooth became a sign of great sophistication and print most adored by women.

A few weeks ago I could finally wear my new houndstooth skirt combining it with a blouse and a sweater, lace shoes and the Choies faux fur vest (which you've already seen here and here) for a ladylike outfit but at the same time youthful, perfect for college or for a business meeting informally.

Mannish shoes

Girls, I'm talking about shoes! Finally, after years and years searching for the perfect lace-up, I found it and it was Love with capital L.
The shoes in mannish style are trend autumn winter 2014-15 of most successful this year. Edgy models and elegant shapes inspired by the symmetry typical of men's shoes, which have, however, new life in the collections of the most famous fashion maison in the world.
The lace-ups are a must for the season to be comfortable, stylish and glamorous at the same time. And as a lover of elegance that I am, male and female (as you noted), I could not resist and I went down to ten centimeters (mom, you know that miracles do happen!) to come back down to earth.

Al parco, le signorine per bene

The young ladies spend the autumn afternoons at the park. They hear the leaves fall from the trees breathing in the scent of that nature that is changing, read Jane Austine, pretend and dream. To dream.. this is just their favorite pastime.
What do they dream about? Gulliver's Travels. Not just his, but dream of distant travels.
They dream of taking a half-empty suitcase to fill it with emotions and smiles, emotions and happiness that only travel can give.
It 's always so whenever I feel like a caged lion, I would just go to the airport and go. So, without a precise destination.
It's not running away, I'm not one of those people who runs away when faced with problems or insecurities, it's not part of my character. More than anything it is a meet, with yourself.
And at this time I would leave with one of those open tickets.
I need freedom.
I need to wonder and enchantment.
But above all, I need to pause for a moment, look for me in the crowd of thoughts and finding myself.

Cape in Town

Straight from the school of Hogwarts Magic & Fashionerie, the Witch Desi wrapped in his warm cloak. Yes, I was accepted and the principal has also accepted my clause: high heels and potions. I've never said that I can be very persuasive?! ;)

Pelle & Pellicce

Among the trends and "big returns" of this fall winter 2014/15, there are definitely leather, chic, aggressive and super versatile, and very soft fur, the true prevailing trend of the season. 

Let's face it, the return of leather was just around the corner. In recent fashion shows fashion designers have taken to the catwalk not only biker jacket as well as trousers, leggings and pencil or full skirt, reminiscent of the 80s. 

From the encounter between a leather skirt, found on Choies, and a fur vest, always found on Choies, comes a romantic outfit with a retro twist. 

To complete the look, my favorite shirt with a big bow and Moschino brogues. 

Needless to say I love the result, and you?

Saint Laurent style

In the 70's, the famous French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent shocked with the first trouser suit and suit for women. Since then it's been a while, but the mannish style is still the star of the catwalks. 

And so this fall/winter the mannish style is a trend thanks to the suit jacket pants strict but very sensual.

Leather, Peplum, Denim

Some loves made immense speed and then come back ...
It seems like yesterday that I attended the first year of high school and I was madly in love. No, not with the most beautiful of the school (which was more than one: P)... but with the jeans! To the delight of my mother I had more than 20, I swear! Then over time, the hatred.
Over the years, my closet was filled with blacks trousers, weird right ?! ;)
But the dear old and good Venditti has always been right...The flashback is close, very close indeed!
In recent weeks I have bought 2 pairs of jeans but this time I will stop here, the 0 close to 2 this time do not put it ;)
So for a drink with friends, I opted once again for simplicity, wearing my new jeans, AX Paris jacket with faux leather sleeves and peplum and heeled brogues. I do not even remember most of them!

Colori d'autunno

Autumn and its shades from yellow to red, still immersed in a bright green frame.
A total black outfit with accessories from the colors of the leaves and shoes in leopard print pony, as it wants to tip the season. A song in my head and a mixture of peace and thoughts drawn on my face. Today it goes like this...

October, 19

An autumn walk on a soft blanket of dry leaves.
The smell of roasted chestnuts and a sudden desire for Christmas, red and a chalet in the mountains.
A "Witch" hat (Halloween is approaching :P) and a warm vests in Mongolian fur.
A pair of jeans and a white shirt.
And then, the bag that every woman should have in their collection of bags: the famous Louis Vuitton speedy. What if you still do not know, the trunk bag is the must have bag for this fall (I'll get better in a week, however, take note).
And one more a quote, hoping it will be one of those true:
Do not confuse your path with your destination. Just because it is stormy now does not mean that you are not directed toward the sun.

Green leopard shoes

Green and animalier. A perfect combination that embodies what are the trends of this fall. The green and its shades (here), for what concerns the trendy colors according to pantone, and animalier shoes (I talked about it here). 

If the shoes are Alberto Bressan spotted with shades of green, I made the center! In fact I own, as they say, two birds with one stone;)

Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?
Magic mirrors, wreaths of bright, royal garments, glass slippers ..What little girl/young woman did not grow up dreaming of being/becoming a princess? I think no, indeed, I am almost certain.
Sometimes fairy tales do come true, not for all those little girls dreaming obvious, but the most fortunate realize their dream.
  If I tell you, Kate? Just to name one ;) Yeah, Middleton has done it!
Then you see that this is not so hard or maybe.
Alle we know the truth, needless to preach to you or be moralist..this morning I want to make you dream.
So even if in the veins not flow the notorious blue-blooded and we are not that great ass of Cinderella, least of Kate, just rummage in the old trunk of our mother (or grandmother) and find the vintage dress of "her big day". Wear it. Close the eyes and start dreaming, circling in an impromptu waltz.
As I always say:
To be a princess is not needed neither a prince nor a crown!

When September ends

The simplicity of a day in late September. A jeans and a white T-shirt. A trench on the shoulders, to shelter from the pleasant breeze that is already changing its warmth.
As if it were always so simple in life. That just simply is not.
And if there is an adjective that does not belong to this life, it is the simplicity. It does not even know what that means.
We are forced every day to climb thousands of steps, climb over walls to be able to enjoy the view.
And 'this is the key to everything: be aware of being alive. Remember that it is never too late to turn around to look at the sun. Again.

A new Tartan

From Scotland with love, tartan, famous plaid fabric, confirms itself the star of the season, mixing and reinventing itself with new trends. 

And if fashion wants all us in the beautiful and mysterious Scotland, we just have to leave...oops... to play! 

Not to give into the mix, now granted, tartan-animalier, I decided to match my tartan dress with two trendy colors of this season: the red sangria and the famous burgundy.

Hello girls!
Monday again. New outfit. Black again.
(What a great imagination!)
I had said that I like black.
If you did not understand I'm a #blackaddicted and #blacklover.
I can not do anything about it, so keep me and love the black!
Ah anyway, I have a news...
"Did you buy another little black dress?" 
No no, you're quiet, nothing black. Ultimately I'm looking for a little red dress.
Yes you read right, and very likely you also heard the bells ringing, I want a red dress!
Will your Princess find the dress that I have in mind (because I know how I want it but I do not know if I'll find it) or will sell, once again, the charm of black? We'll find out in the next few months!
Meanwhile, enjoy yet another outfit in black and remember:

Pencil skirt & Borsalino hat

The pencil skirt is always a classic bon ton, as well as a symbol of femininity. 

Caresses and enhances our forms without exceeding in the vulgarity. 

A true timeless classic but super versatile. Impossible not to have one in the closet! 

As you know I was at the Fashion Week in Milan and one of the outfits prepared but not worn (I still wonder why), provided for the pencil skirt with a lace corset, a big hat to create a bit of mystery and finish coat on shoulders. All strictly black! 

Needless to say that I love (in all languages) the result ;)

MFW - DOLCE&GABBANA S/S15

The spring/summer 2015 signed Dolce & Gabbana inspired by the Spanish domination in Sicily from 1516 to 1713.
Fashion designers Stefano and Domenico lead us in Spain, more precisely in the Seville of Matador, bullfights and flamenco.
The collection from the mood decidedly Hispanic, has its roots in ethnic folk culture Spanish twist in sexy mood.
Sensuality and sacredness. Sacred and profane intertwine and open up in a marked symbolism.  Toreador boleros, ponchos, seductive items and details that dominate the red and black, lace and jewel applications.
Skirts with flounces and ruffles, long dresses in lace or fabric printed, mini dress and 3/4 dresses with line shape and full skirt, reminiscent of flamenco dancers.
The floral prints and polka dots make us enter into the true mood of a caliente and Baroque Spain.
A glass of sangria to warm the hearts and dance a sensual flamenco to the rhythm of castanets. Olè!

MFW DAY 2

Could not a princess get a lady tulle skirt? 

Of course not! Especially if the beautiful and colorful gauzy "ballerina" skirts, will still be the trend next spring/summer. 

As you can see, many fashion designers have brought the tulle on the catwalk and I could not absolutely not put it during fashion week! 

When I found it, by chance, it was love at first sight and I felt really a princess! ;) 

In Milan, the girls are literally mad with joy! 

I was mistaken for a princess or a fairy. 

All were in love with these layers of floating tulle, they eyes twinkling. And my at the sight of them. 

You had to see them as dreamingtheir fables *-* An unique tenderness! 

Here's what I have left more than anything in this second day of fashion week, the joy and the smiles of the real little princesses :) 

But now look the judgments of you princesses grown up!

MFW - MOSCHINO S/S15

Each of us, surely at some point in her life, would have liked to be a Barbie. Someone at random (without naming names.......Desi) wants it even now! ;)
Who for the closet. Who the silky mane of blond hair. Who for the hundreds pairs of shoes. Maybe someone for Ken!
The magical opink life of the most famous doll (and old...Barbie do not hate me but this year are 55 for you too!) in the world, has always fascinated every little woman. And if we have never too big to dream, luckily Jeremy Scott, with the new spring/summer 2015 Moschino, transforms us into real Barbie.
Inspired by the colorful world of Barbie, a brilliant, funny and bizarre collection, dominated by shocking pink and gold until evening dresses ironic mood.
A day marked by suit in leather made up of biker jackets and skirts with maxi fiddet zip front or on a knitting iconic mini or maxi, which is used, taking up the Barbie lettering, the name of the Maison; iconic prints of multicolor flowers dance on silk or jersey dresses, and for the evening mini printed baloon dresses, silver pants with bustier or pink dresses in silk jacquard decorated. Worn out clogs with high heels, colored decolletè or  cleavage pink Texans.
Barbie, Marina and Teresa...we are ready to sing I'm a Barbie girl in a Moschino world.

MFW DAY 1

Good Morning! 

Here's what I wore the first day of Fashion Week. An outfit in shades of black and white, with jeweled sandals and clutch pearls.

MFW - STELLA JEAN S/S15

Stella Jean. A collection that made ​​me dream and desire to take, once again, the plane and fly home (Africa). 

The spring/summer Stella Jean is an exuberance of color, concepts and meanings whose protagonist is a cosmopolitan woman. A cultural journey between Haiti (island of the mother), Burkina Faso, Mali and Italy, which is told through the texture and the fabric, tracing centuries-old traditions.

A collection of lightness, harmony and color. Michael Kors, for his spring/summer 2015 is inspired by the 50's, when people had found the will to live, to have fun and go out. 

A chic collection in a mix of tailoring and sportswear. 

Bon ton dresses, feminine and bucolic, with round collars, and vaporous skirts, decorated with lots of flower prints. 

The spring/summer collection is a riot of flowers and freshness, with a color palette of bright tones although there are blue, white and black. 

In Michael Kors every woman can find sweetness and femininity, but also seduction and mischief.

Hello princesses! I'm back dressed in black! 

"Again? But then this is just a widow!" (you're thinking, right?) 

Come on, I will always be a merry widow, but this time is my ideal outfit. Dress with lace sleeves, a little doll, and the new girls get in my collection. 

To give a touch of light and do not give the impression of going to the funeral of my ex-husband (which of many? Perhaps the tenth! :P), I paired the golden clucth Jalouze.
